Privacy Policy

Welcome to Blayze! We value the privacy of all of our users so we created this Privacy Policy. It explains what information we collect from users and how and when we disclose or use it.

By accessing or using the Blayze site or services provided by Blayze ("Blayze", "we", and "us"), you are consenting to collection and use of your information as outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you don't consent, please do not access or use Blayze. When you use Blayze, you also agree to our Terms of Service.

1. Information Collected and Uses

Any information that we can use to identify or contact you in particular is referred to throughout this Privacy Policy as "personally identifiable information". If you decide to register with Blayze, we will collect personally identifiable information such as your user name, full name, email address, date of birth, password, gender, city, and any other personal information you choose to provide. You may not be able to access certain portions of Blayze or use certain Blayze services without registering with us.

After registration, you may provide other information (e.g., your bio, location, photos) in the profile section or within a Blayze Share page or during other uses of the Blayze site or services. This information will help you express yourself and fully utilize Blayze with your friends and other users to whom you permit access. If you activate any of the mobile phone options per the Terms of Service, we will collect your mobile phone number account information so that we can communicate with you and provide certain Blayze mobile services. In addition, if you email us, we may keep a record of your contact information and text of your email and may use that information to respond.

We use your personally identifiable information to fulfill your requests for products and services, to improve our services, to conduct research, to communicate with you, to manage your registered user account (if you have one), to market to you, and to customize the advertising and content you see.

We also collect certain non-personally identifiable information to help us understand how our users use Blayze ("Use Data"). For example, each time you use Blayze, we may collect your IP address and other log information about your Internet connectivity. In addition, we use "cookie" technology. A cookie is a small data file that identifies you as a unique user but we never use it to collect personally identifiable information. In certain situations, we may also use "web beacons" to collect non-personally identifiable information about your use of Blayze. Web beacons are small image files in a web page or email that return home server information from the user's browser. We use cookies and web beacons to monitor traffic to Blayze and generally make it easier to use (e.g., cookies help us store your settings preferences from a particular user session). Some of our Service Providers (described below) may use cookies or web beacons in connection with the services they perform for us. You can turn off or delete cookies in your browser but certain features of Blayze may not work afterwards.

Other than as outlined in this Privacy Policy, except for aggregate demographic information that we may share with third parties in a manner that does not link that information to any individual, we will not share your personally identifiable information

with third parties unless you have given us permission to do so.

2.Information Disclosure

We may use certain trusted third party companies or persons to provide certain services to us, including, without limitation, hosting and maintenance, data management, promotional and advertising services, etc. ("Service Providers"). We provide our Service Providers with the information needed for them to perform these services, including some personally identifiable information, but only to the extent needed to provide those services. We ask our Service Providers to abide by our Privacy Policy with respect to Usage Data or other data we share with them.

We may also access, preserve, and disclose any information we have collected about you or that you have submitted: (1) in response to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish, protect, or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; (2) to protect the rights and property of Blayze, its affiliates, or the public; (3) if we believe it is necessary in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person; and (4) if Blayze sells, transfers, or otherwise shares some or all of its assets in connections with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets or in the event of a bankruptcy. You will have the opportunity to opt out of any such transfer if the new entity's planned processing of your information is materially different from this Privacy Policy. In addition, we may forward any counter notification that you submit pursuant to our Terms of Service, and any related communications, to third parties.

3. Public Areas

Your use of areas of Blayze that are intended for interaction with other users may reveal your user name and may allow you to publish certain personally identifiable information about you. By choosing to use these areas, you understand and agree that anyone with access to those areas may access and forward any information about you that is contained in or that you post to those areas. As with any social networking service, you should use care when disclosing your personal information to others.

4. Changing or Deleting Information

Blayze provides tools and certain functionality for you to control your profile and other personal information. You can edit your profile and other information at any time through the Blayze site. At any time, you can terminate your account which will remove your profile and other personal information from view. Please note that it may not be technologically feasible or practical to remove every piece of information from our servers that you have submitted to us. Certain information may exist in numerous, non-erasable copies used to back up our systems that may be difficult or impossible for us to locate and/or delete. Regardless, we will always try to remove any personally identifiable information that you request that we delete within a reasonable amount of time (although even after removal, certain information may remain viewable in cached and archived locations).

5. Security

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access. We also require our Service Providers to implement and maintain reasonable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we share with them. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we aim to protect personal information, we cannot and do not guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from Blayze, and you do so at your own risk.

6. Third Party Sites

Blayze may contain links to web sites operated and maintained by third parties and we have no control over those sites or their policies, which may be different from ours. We do not endorse, authorize, or represent any affiliation with such third parties. You access such linked web sites at your own risk. Please read the privacy policies and terms of use on such third party sites.

7. Children

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personally identifiable information from a user under the age of 13, we will delete such information from our records. Because we do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13, we also do not knowingly distribute such information to third parties. If we discover that a user is under 13 years old, we will take the appropriate steps to terminate that account and delete any personally identifiable information from our files.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

From time to time, we may change this Privacy Policy. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, in whole or in part, we will inform you by posting the changed Privacy Policy on Blayze. Those changes will go into effect on the date posted within the Privacy Policy. The new policy will apply to all current and past users of Blayze and will replace any prior policies that are inconsistent. Your continued use of Blayze is considered understanding and acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy so please familiarize yourself with the most current version.

The effective date of this Privacy Policy is November 24, 2011.
